Boozy Popcorn Balls
This boozy treat puts an adult spin on a snack that is usually only popular for children. Popcorn balls are no longer just for kids!
For this recipe, you will need the following ingredients:
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 Bag of Marshmallows
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Pumpkin Pie Liqueur
- 1/2 Cup Popcorn Kernels
- 2 Tablespoons Canola Oil
- Cinnamon (add to taste)
Start by popping the popcorn on the stove. Never made stovetop popcorn before? Follow this quick video!
You do not need to season your popcorn (this will happen later with the liqueur). Once the popcorn is ready, set it aside in a large mixing bowl.
Put the butter, brown sugar, and marshmallows in a saucepan at low heat. Mini marshmallows will work best for this recipe as they melt easier. The marshmallows will begin to melt into the butter, stirring frequently. Stir in the liqueur and dash of cinnamon. Reduce the heat and prepare the popcorn for the sauce.
Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper and have some butter nearby. Pour the marshmallow liqueur mixture over the popcorn. Rub the butter on your hands and start to form the popcorn balls. Set the finished products on the cookie sheet. You may need to let the popcorn cool before grabbing it with your bare hands.
After the popcorn balls have cooled, serve them! Everyone is sure to love this tipsy treat!

All you need for this recipe are the following ingredients:
- 1/3 Cup Popcorn Kernels
- 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/3 cup Champagne
- 1/4 Cup Butter
- 1/4 Cup Heavy Cream

While the popcorn cools, add the brown sugar, champagne, butter, heavy cream, and vanilla extract to a saucepan. Cook over medium to low heat–too warm, and the alcohol will cook out. Let the mixture simmer for about six minutes or until the mixture is thick and smooth.
Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool for several minutes. Once the sauce has cooled enough, pour it over the popcorn. Serve this popcorn creation in individual champagne glasses! You can find a package of plastic champagne glasses at your local dollar store.
